Hello everyone.
Thank you for all your hard work during the spring term. Mrs Riley and I have sent home a revision pack. It contains the year 5/6 spelling list, a selection of reading texts and questions and some practise mathematics papers. We have also included a few sections of the Maths revision book to complete. Details as follows:
Red Section – addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Purple Section – Fractions, decimals and percentages.
Orange Section – Algebra.
Please encourage your child to spend a little time working through the pack daily. I am aware that you all have busy lives and prior commitments, so it may not be possible to complete all the activities. However, it is important that the children keep up the momentum and do some learning during the holidays – please do what you can.
If your child is unsure of the correct method to answer the questions, please encourage them to use online resources such as those available on BBC Bitesize, Youtube, Corbett Maths or this Y6 blog to assist them.
